What is your favorite book, and why?

My favorite book series is According To Humphrey. I like this book series because its a good genre. The book is adventurous, fun, and Humphrey sneaks around a lot to help his friends. It also has two animals a frog named Og and a hamster named Humphrey. Humphrey and Og are classroom pets! Og stays at the school on weekends and Humphrey go’s to one of the students houses. The students sometimes are going threw things that are tough and Humphrey tries to help and he always or usually succeeds.

Write about something interesting you did over Christmas/Holiday Vacation.

This winter break I went tubing and snowboarding. I went to Skyview middle school because they have a big hill for sledding / tubing / snowboarding. I loved snowboarding I was not the best but it was hilarious and fun. My dad was really funny going down the hill in the dino tube my brother got for Christmas.

This next year I want to work on staying on task and just being more focused. I space out a lot during math when I’m supposed to be working. When I space out I don’t get that far in my math and I usually only get to problem six or five. I hate taking work home because I forget about it and I rush it in the morning and don’t get the best grade.

I might be able to stay on task if I am at a desk with no one like the standing desk. I feel like this would help because I sometimes get distracted talking to the person next to me. I know i should not be talking to the person next to me but its hard for me not to.

Do you think students should be able to stay up as late as they want on weekends? Why or Why not?

I believe that you should be able stay up as long as you want on weekends. Because I feel like you know when its time to go to bed because you start to get really tired. ? Or at least I get really tire and my eyes start to get heavy and I can barely stay up another second.  But yes I believe on the weekends you should be able to stay up how ever long you want. (Cause I mean who would not want to stay up?) ???

What is special about Thanksgiving? What traditions does your family follow? How do you help out on Thanksgiving? Do you help cook anything?

?Thanksgiving is special to me because you spend time with your family.?

A tradition we have is each family member gets to cook a certain thing. I usually help with the devilled egg (My

favorite.) Yes I help out with cooking. Yes I do help cook a few different foods?

If you compare yourself to others you can loose joy. Comparing yourself to others makes you sad because 

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” is a very true and helpful quote to help you have joy and be joyful! Be yourself and don’t compare yourself to others!

Do you think we will have lots of snow this winter, and will it be very cold?

Yes it will be cold and we will have lots of snow because we live in Alaska. I think this mostly because we live in a state that snows so much and is very chilly. Coldness is guaranteed this winter and it has already snowed once at my house. So ya it is definitely going to snow and be cold.

What is your favorite part of the Holidays? How do you help your family during the Holidays?

I like to help out on holidays especially thanksgiving. I set the table, help my mom cook, and give thanks. On Christmas I give gifts to my family members. I already have my Christmas presents planned out and ready to go on Christmas. I also like birthday party’s because you can get a present for your friend or family member. Birthdays are a good way to give gifts and have fun just like Christmas. Holidays are amazing and great times to help every body out.
